Engine Driver’s Revivers tin of sweets

Fruit pips in a useful hinged (yes, hinged!) rectangular tin.

Red and black fruity pips referencing the fire and coal of the boiler. A little pick me up during a long session at the footplate, or even after you’ve been jiggled about in a passenger coach. A tin that is a keeper and will be very useful one day. A perfect little gift for engine drivers and all other drivers. In fact anyone needing reviving. That’ll be all of us then….

The delicious fruit sweets are made in the UK and happen to be suitable for vegans and vegetarians. We had huge help from a local Darlington firm to produce this and we think that makes it extra special.

The very aged Mother-in-Law said "Hmmm. They're fruity. That one tastes of blackcurrant. They feel rough but then they go smooth"

I asked, "Which colour did you pick?" She stuck out her tongue. She had picked a red one. It fell out of her mouth and landed on her mobility tray. We found it and she popped it back in, quick as you like.

"Do you feel revived?" I asked.

"No, not really".

"But then, you're not an engine driver, are you?"

"No", she said. "Those things scared me."
