Viaduct at Night – glass curve

This small glass curve features the silhouette of a viaduct and the night sky beyond. Made by Judith Gill of Stockton, it has been made using clever firing techniques to create a tactile foreground, hand painted to create the viaduct and slumping in the kiln to create the curve shape. Place it in a window to see the sunlight catch the colours or place a tea light behind it and bring the scene to life. (If using a tea light place it on a stable hard surface to avoid damaging any surfaces or use a battery operated tea light).

The glass curve measures approx. 8 x 7.5cm.

This scene is also available as a framed glass tile.
