Here is an interesting blog by Anthony Coulls of Locomotion in Shildon about just how much of the Flying Scotsman is original.
£5.99
The Flying Scotsman was built for the London & North Eastern Railway in 1923 by the Doncaster works. It was designed by Sir Nigel Gresley. It was the first steam locomotive to be officially recorded travelling at 100mph. It is still hauling special passenger tours today.
A great gift for trainspotters and railway enthusiasts everywhere – the tin is a keeper – useful for storing all sorts of things long after the tea is finished. The Flying Scotsman tea tin contains 40 English Breakfast teabags. English Breakfast is a full-bodied black tea with a delicate aroma, serve at any time of the day with a splash of milk.
Why not pair with the LNER (Late & Never Early) mug?
