A  white ceramic plate made in Newcastle, home of Robert Stephenson & Co from 1823. The plate is 21 cm in diameter and commemorates Rocket’s victory at the Rainhill Trials in 1829. It features a line drawing of Rocket with accompanying text (see photo) set within a lacy yellow and brown border.
